He has previously held the positions of Managing Director, National Sales and Marketing Manager and other general management positions within these industries. Robert brings a vast range of experience to the company.

Experience. Steve's insurance career began in 1977 working for a major Australian insurance company where he was involved in underwriting and claims management roles before progressing to senior management. In 1994 Steve was recruited to international insurance broker Aon Risk Services where he managed a hospitality scheme for restaurants and was responsible for corporate and specialised business sectors. Since 2004 Steve has been a Director/Shareholder of Austral Risk Services with a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients together with responsibility for new business development. Steve became Managing Director in July 2008.

Experience. Ken's insurance career began in 1970 working for National & General Insurance, a subsidiary of the National Australia Bank. Ken's career progressed through a variety of general insurers where he gained experience in underwriting, reinsurance, claims management, marketing and business development, resulting in senior management positions at both regional and state office level. In the early 90s Ken was recruited by Aon Risk Services where he spent 11 years as a Senior Account Executive. Ken joined Austral Risk Services in 2005 to manage and develop a portfolio of larger commercial clients and in 2006 he became a Director/Shareholder.

Experience. Fabian has 29 years' experience in the general industry. With prior experience in various senior management positions with NZI Insurance (now CGU) in Victoria and Queensland and having also worked as an insurance broker for six years, Fabian joined Austbrokers in his current role as Regional Operations Manager in 1999. He has vast experience in the Insurance industry particularly broking, and holds a number of Non-Executive Director roles within the Austbrokers Network which include General Insurance Broking, Life Risk & Financial Planning, and Underwriting Agency businesses. Fabian is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has Certificates of Management and Business Studies from Deakin University. Fabian is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker and holds a Diploma of Financial Services from the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA). Fabian is also a Senior Associate and Certified Insurance Professional of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF)
